PageMe - Calls your pager when you have a voicemail message.

Introduction:
If you have a voicemail service which provides a "broken" or "stuttering"
dialtone when you have a message, this package uses your computer's modem to
detect that dialtone and then page you on your numeric pager with a custom
message you specify.

Requirements:
A voicemail service which produces a broken dialtone when you have a message
and a modem capable of generating a "NO DIALTONE" error when the modem
command "ATDW" is issued and the dialtone is broken. Also, you must have a
copy of VBRUN300.DLL, which is available anywhere finer shareware is sold.

Setup:
PageMe is designed to set up quickly and easily. First, unzip the contents
of the PAGEME.ZIP file into a directory or folder. Next, start up PageMe and
click on the "File" menu, then the "Setup" option. The menu that appears
contains all setup options. Once they are set, the application will minimize
itself and start working.

COM Port - set the number of the COM port your modem is attached to
               (1, 2, ...etc.).

Frequency to Test - how often (in minutes) do you want PageMe to check
for messages? NOTE: Setting this to a smaller number
proportionally increases PageMe's ability to really annoy you
               with pages.

Pager Number - a "modem ready" phone number to call to initiate a page.
If your PBX requires a leading 9, include it here (along with
               any delays it might need).

Pause Before Sending Message - in seconds, how long after dialing does
the "Enter your message after the beep" complete? This value
WILL require some trial and error to get right. Experience
shows that having it set too large is very preferable to
               having it barely long enough.

Message - what digital message should be sent to the pager.

Operation:
Once all options have been set, PageMe minimizes itself and starts waiting for
the first test to occur. Anytime you start it up after setup is complete, it'll
also minimize itself and start waiting.

The shareware version displays a "nag" screen to annoy you into paying for the
package. The button on this screen must be selected before the application starts.

The standard version is intended to be put in the Windows "Startup" group so
that it runs whenever Windows is started.

Testing:
To test your PageMe setup, click on "File" then "Test Now" (or press F5). That
will cause PageMe to check for messages immediately.
